I started in the construction industry over 35 years ago  for a housing development company (L Green(Kirkby) LTD).  Firstly in the offices training in the accountancy and procurement procedures the graduated to estimating.  Then site management and sales, while also obtaining an honours degree in construction management 2000 and became a member of the charted institute of builder in 2001

I developed the only on site demonstration project for Government think tank for Rethinking the Construction Industry Newbould Mill Lane Pleasley An Open On Site Remote monitoring  System

Final I developed the company’s energy consultancy department, which then became Midland Energy Ratings LTD in 1998 providing energy reports and construction advise to:- Architects,Housing Development Companies and Self Builders

I obtained my Degree from Trinity St David’s University, and  then started with Midland Energy Ratings Ltd.  Where I have been working for the Last two years and I have been involved with the sales and marketing of the consultancy and the initial preparatory work for the energy assessments.  

During this time I have covered all the departments to gain an insight to the company practices from Sales and marketing to Accounts and estimating, plus I have been involved with the methods for producing the energy reports.  

Recently I have Trained as an Accredited level 1 Air Pressure Tester with BSRIA and I an registered with ATTMA for domestic air pressure energy assessments for compliance with the current building regulations  approved document part L1A.
